James Salmon’s practice at Ulmer & Berne is focused on construction defect litigation, mediation, commercial disputes, subrogation and insurance bad faith claims. James has tried construction cases in Ohio and Wyoming and has litigated construction disputes in Kentucky as well. James attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas where he received a B.A. in Philosophy and Political Science 1991. He earned his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati in 1994. After graduating James served as a law clerk to Chief Justice William A. Taylor on the Wyoming Supreme Court in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He then joined the law firm of Lonabaugh and Riggs in Sheridan, Wyoming where he practiced law until 2000. In 2000 James and his family returned to Cincinnati and joined Ulmer & Berne. Ulmer & Berne is a large regional law firm with full service offices in Cleveland, Cincinnati, Columbus and Chicago.
